Wilbie's Gift

One day, as Wilbie and Harry were walking home from school, Wilbie spotted something in the shoe shop window that made him stop. Right in the middle, amongst the sandals and school shoes, the flip-flops and the boots, was the most fantastic pair of trainers that Wilbie had ever seen. Wilbie wants these trainers more than anything he has ever wanted. But his mum and dad can't afford to buy them for him, because soon Wilbie will have a baby sister and they need to buy baby things instead. So, he must save for the trainers out of his pocket money. Wilbie really doesn't want a sister, but then he notices that something is missing from the room they have planned for her...
